IT Project Managers
One of the most critical roles is performed by the Project Manager who plans, executes,
monitors and reports the project progress. The PM is involved in all lifecycle phases from
start to finish, keeps the project on schedule, manages scope changes, assures communications
between all stakeholders and delivers results.
Our Program and Project Managers have an average of 12 years of experience, PMP credentials
and prior industry experience managing large projects. An IMSI PM brings with him/her processes
that work in the field and templates for all working documents so that the team can “hit
the ground running” for:
Requirements Analysis – project scoping and requirements definition
with stakeholders to gain their commitment to the project’s deliverables, as well as a
pro-active analysis of associated project risks and implications to business operations
Program/Project Planning – project plan development that defines goals
and objectives, specifies the tasks and resources needed for success, and establishes the project
infrastructure
Budgeting & Scheduling – estimation of costs and duration, as well as
the building of work breakdown structures
Plan Monitoring and Progress Reporting – Reports that pull the team together
and encourage teamwork and resource management to optimize schedules. Monitoring ensures outcomes are
on time, within budget, and within quality specifications
Quality Controls & Maintenance – measuring and metrics, problem solving,
risk mitigation, change control to ensure project plans are progressing, deadlines are achieved, deliverable
are provided, and capabilities are transferred
